Role-Playing Games at the Saarbrücken Language Center
RAIN (Roleplay-based Acquisition through Immersive Narratives) is an innovative approach to foreign language learning inspired by tabletop role-playing games. Instead of completing isolated exercises, learners take on self-developed roles and collaboratively create an ongoing story in the target language. This creates an immersive learning environment in which communication has a genuine purpose and all four language skills are practiced naturally.
Blended Intensive Program
We are delighted to announce an upcoming Blended Intensive Program in which students from the T4EU University Alliance can participate in a language-learning program focused on Italian, Spanish, and French. The one-week course is based on the teaching principles we have developed and incorporates a variety of modern language acquisition methods. Registration is open until 22.11.2026!
